I had an incredible stay at this charming cottage. The location was ideal, allowing for a quiet retreat while still being easily accessible to Cupar and nearby attractions like St Andrews. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, especially with the lovely weather I was fortunate to have. The host was excellent, providing excellent communication before my arrival and ensuring I had everything I needed. I was impressed by the thoughtful touches, like having milk, tea/coffee, and breakfast available. The cottage itself was unique, with its stylish decor and the bedroom situated above the living area. The two spacious bathrooms were immaculate, and the shower was fantastic. I appreciated the extra supplies of toiletries and cleaning equipment that were provided, as well as the added touch of having logs for the fireplace available. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, and there were plenty of TV channels to choose from. The well-maintained garden with benches and tables, as well as the barbecue area, added to the relaxing atmosphere. The private parking was convenient, and the location offered great opportunities for walks and exploration. I highly recommend taking the time to enjoy this cottage and all it has to offer.

Free WiFi and private parking - great, now I can Instagram my entire stay and not worry about parking my fancy car. Towels were included, so I didn't have to bring my own - what a relief!

The only downside was that the towels didn't magically fold themselves. How inconvenient!

We had a delightful stay at the Schoolhouse Cottages. the cottage had everything we needed and more, with excellent communication from the hosts prior to our arrival. the location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby towns and attractions. the views were stunning, especially with the amazing weather we were fortunate to have. the cottage itself was spacious and equipped with all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the cozy wood burner in the evenings. a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a memorable stay. Cons: Couldn't fault 👌.

I would have appreciated some assistance from the children working there with adjusting the heating. It was a bit challenging to figure out how to boost the temperature, and written instructions would have been helpful.

Wow, what a quirky place! From the stylish and organized interior to the unique hidden kitchen, the Schoolhouse Cottages is full of character. Perfect for walking and deer watching with the beautiful woods right next to the cottage. Bill, the host, was lovely and provided great suggestions for walks and food.
